At long fucking last, main BBC news presenter Huw Edwards has released his autobiography. Or, someone else has released one of those 100% Unofficial biographies about the Welsh newsman. Eitherway, it's good news for Christmas book shoppers looking for a present that's under a fiver.

The book will probably be published in hardback with a shiny cover and easily removable price label, leaving open the possibility that you may have paid full price for it. The estimated bargain book shop retail price is around £2.99-

Edwards has certainly lived a FULL and COLOURFUL life - some have suggested that it may be a bit too full and colourful, speculating that Edwards' book may get a little STEAMY in places. This, however, has been generally dismissed as 'unlikely'.

CONTROVERSY

In a desperate attempt to hype the book pre-publication an excerpt from the biography was leaked to the press. The fourteen page manuscript detailing Huw's coverage of the National Assembly for Wales election, 2007 for BBC Wales, contained a paragraph in which Huw appears to speculate on the dimensions of fellow newshound Natasha Kaplinsky's personal area. The pages, however, turned out to be hoax. This led to a slew of Huw rumours, including but not limited to, an entire chapter on Fiona Bruce's tits which Huw supposedly describes as 'smallish'.
